01DropXMarketplace finance & operations

Rebuilding settlement around how the business actually paid people

“The system settled weekly. The business never once did.”

Rebuilt settlement from weekly batch — a model the business never once ran — to per-order, and found the shipping rule that had DropX paying couriers and recouping nothing on thousands of ordinary orders.

02Digitas MEClient delivery & scope

Delivering someone else's product, on someone else's budget

“Every yes had an invoice attached. That is the fastest way to find out what a stakeholder actually wants.”

Ran the backlog and release scope for a live Saudi recruitment platform — phased an events product from MVP through later releases, priced every change the client asked for, and turned their UAT complaints into a tracked queue instead of an argument.

03DropXMarketplace & logistics

Building a B2B dropshipping marketplace from scratch

“Ship the goods before the money lands and you don't have a business.”

Took DropX from concept to public launch in Jan 2026, then to ~31K unique orders and EGP 25M+ GMV in six months.

04DropXPlatform delivery & risk

Building a team's worth of checks when there was no team

“Nobody was going to review my pull requests, so I built the reviewer.”

Designed the delivery system that let one person ship the whole product surface of a live marketplace handling other people's money — reviewers, path-triggered audits and production guards that make the dangerous action impossible rather than discouraged.

The short version

Ahmed Yassin

Five years across product, business analysis and digital transformation — government platforms, marketplaces and e-commerce. Most of it in places where the constraints are physical: couriers, cash, borders, and people who need paying on time.
